Officer's campaign latrine with Mahogany case and blue and white pottery bowl .
This incredible piece of history belonged to the Honourable lieutenant Charles Beaumont. The flushing ,campaign ,officers latrine consisting of a flame Mahogany case with brass carrying handles. The lid featuring the coat of Arms of Lieutenant Beaumont and revealing a padded seat over a decorative blue and white ceramic bowl signed R. Wiss London . The bowl leading to a a tin receptacle, complete with a bone handled flushing handle .Robert Wiss of fleet street london were specialist water closet manufacturers and closed in 1829 .
